Let’s get straight to the point, I’m terrible at breakfast. It’s always been way to easy for me to just skip it and not eat anything until lunch. Not exactly ideal. Since I’m not the least motivated to make breakfast in the morning, I decided to go for something I can make the day before … enter overnights oats. Now, I eat this basically every morning, and it’s awesome!
Ingredients (1 portion)
- 75 grams rolled oats
- 10 grams chia seeds
- 180 grams frozen berries
- 250 grams soy milk
Mix together the ingredients and place it in the fridge the evening before. If you are planning on making it for multiple days, you should hold off on the soy milk until the day before.
You can also blend this just before leaving the house – but in that case I would consider using less oats, or more soy milk. This is perfect for eating on the go, for example as you drive to the gym for a morning workout.
